About Daedong Mobility

Daedong Mobility is evolving into a leading smart mobility company.

Building on over 70 years of manufacturing expertise, Daedong Mobility is evolving into a leading smart mobility company.

Daedong Mobility was established based on the advanced manufacturing know-how of Daedong, Korea’s No. 1 agricultural machinery company. With a strong foundation in parts manufacturing, production technology, and engineering capabilities, we are expanding beyond conventional engine-powered mobility into eco-friendly solutions powered by electric energy.
Through advanced production facilities, skilled professionals, and continuous innovation, Daedong Mobility is driving sustainable growth and shaping the future of smart mobility.

Daedong Mobility is transforming from a manufacturer of chains, gardening equipment, and leisure vehicles into a future-oriented smart mobility company.

Daedong Mobility was established in 1977 under the name Korea Chain Industrial Co., Ltd. with the goal of localizing power transmission chains in Korea. Since its foundation, the company has built a strong position as a specialized chain manufacturer through accumulated technology and manufacturing expertise. Over the years, Daedong Mobility has expanded its capabilities to produce high-quality products including UTVs, sub-compact tractors, zero-turn mowers, golf carts, rotary tillers, and other work equipment.
Daedong Mobility products are supplied to leading domestic companies across various industries, including automotive, steel, heavy equipment, and agricultural machinery, and are exported to global markets such as the United States, Japan, Europe, and Australia.
Today, Daedong Mobility is building on more than 40 years of experience in developing core components and platforms for mobility, transportation, work, and leisure. By advancing autonomous driving technologies and transitioning toward electric platforms, the company is expanding its vision to become a leading next-generation e-mobility company.
As part of this transformation, the company changed its name from Korea Chain Industrial Co., Ltd. to Daedong Mobility Co., Ltd. in 2021. In November 2022, Daedong Mobility completed its second factory for mobility manufacturing on an approximately 99,000㎡ site in the Daegu National Industrial Complex, marking a major step forward in its growth as an e-mobility company.
With pride in its outstanding technology and quality built over more than 40 years, Daedong Mobility aims to grow into a leading technology company in the e-mobility market and become a key player in the future smart mobility industry together with the Daedong Group.
